My name is Trever Jayne and I am a Senior English Literature undergrad at Grand View University in Des Moines Iowa. In addition to my heavy reading load I am the President of our school's chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, and a Writing Tutor and Student Director of our campus Writing Center. Outside of school I am a single-dad to four amazing adopted kids and one lazy-but-lovely dog. I had a fifteen year career in book selling before returning to school in 2009. Although I do enjoy piňa coladas and dancing in the rain, I prefer a bottle of wine and lounging on the beach.
I initially created this blog for a college project for a 400 level class called Style and Editing. However as I worked on this project I realized I really wanted to have a place to share my thoughts of life, love, parenting, reading, faith, and whatever else I feel inspired to share. My passion is reading and literature and while I am sure the bulk of my posts will relate to books, I feel as though I have a lot to share. Thanks for reading.
